The Hollywood Reporter is currently reporting that the FBI has traced the leaked screener copy of Quentin Tarantino's latest film The Hateful Eight to Andrew Kosove. Kosove is the co-CEO of Alcon Entertainment and has produced many classic films such as Dude Where's My Car?, Love Don't Cost a Thing, Racing Stripes, One Missed Call, Chernobyl Diaries, Transcendence and the remake of Point Break.

While the FBI was able to confirm via watermark that the uploaded screener was in fact Kosove's the producer claims that he has never even held the disc and that someone else in the company must have intercepted the copy and put it online. Kosove has launched an internal investigation at Alcon to find out who took the screener. So far all they know is that it was signed off on by an office assistant named Tom. There's no telling if this Tom is the user who uploaded the copy but the original poster has promised 39 more screeners this year.
